Lovely

The leaves on the tree,
They dance in the breeze;
While the salty waves kiss
The shore with such each ease.

The morning sun dawns,
While the little bird sings;
The waxing moon glows
Casting light on owl wings.

Ephemeral illusions
Are all the eyes see;
Yet, the lovely within me
Shines in perpetuity.

Such magnificent splendor
Is all around me,
Reflecting the beauty
I house within me.

For my veins are the rivers,
My heart is the sea,
And my soul is the sun
Beaming forth splendidly.

I am of the earth
And the earth is of me;
We say of each other,
“Isn’t she lovely?”
